If you visit our Hosting Page, you'll see that our Hosting Packages have now been upgraded.
All of Rhye Media's current clients have been upgraded free of charge. You do not need to do anything to activate the changes, as they are already under effect.
This table indicates how much extra storage and bandwidth are now included in the packages:

These changes will be reflected in the specifications included on your next renewal invoice. Again, there are no extra costs associated with this upgrade.
We have, however, received a few general inquiries about payment.
There is a difference between a Domain Renewal and a Hosting Payment, and you will be invoiced for each separately. A domain renewal is required every two years, while payment of your hosting package needs to be made annually.
If you pay for your domain name to be renewed but not your hosting, no one else will be able to take that name, but when you visit the url you will find that no site appears. You won't be able to send e-mails, and any e-mails sent to your account will be stored on your server and remain inaccessible until payment has been made. A domain name and hosting are both required for your website to function.
We would also like to remind everyone that all renewal invoices are issued 30 days before their due date because we only accept EFT or cheque payments. At this stage we do not accept credit card payments due to issues with current laws regarding liability within Australia. These details are included at the bottom of every invoice. Please ensure that all payments are fully processed prior to the due date, or your account will be suspended and your site will go offline.
If you have any further concerns or queries please utilise our User Support system to get in contact.
We hope you enjoy the extra storage space and traffic allowance included in the hosting package changes;
And May the Fourth be with you tomorrow!
