Rhye Media will cease trading on Friday the 20th of December and will return to work on Monday the 13th of January.
We'd like to thank all of our clients and business partners for a fantastic year. We've taken on many new projects in 2013 which have expanded our business horizons and created new opportunities and partnerships which we are very thankful for.
We now have our own dedicated server on which we are currently hosting more than 100 websites. We look forward to adding many more in 2014, and to continuing to improve the services we offer all of our current customers.
A personal message from Drew:
I'd like to thank Ashlee for her informative and entertaining news articles over the past two years. As she will be working internationally next year (in the USA) and isn't due to return until February 2015, the frequency of these articles may decrease, but we will endeavour to continue her legacy here at Rhye Media and keep our clients updated with any important information.
As Ashlee mentioned earlier, this year has seen a big increase in our hosting capabilities and advancements in mobile technology and cloud computing. We've also seen computer software giants such as Microsoft, Apple and Adobe questioned over their pricing inconsistencies within the Australian market, and had to deal with Adobe's system being hacked, which was exacerbated by a lack of communication and care with their customers.
If their security breach and secrecy have taught us anything, it's that communication is one of the most vital aspects of a company's success. We've made various news articles over the course of this year discussing the importance of properly maintained security, a matter which we hold in the highest regard. Striving for the most extensive protection for our clients and their websites has led us to numerous upgrades of security programs and servers. We've gone from one shared server to a larger portion of a shared server, and then on to an entire server of our own.
All of the staff at Rhye Media pride ourselves on being polite and personable, and if any of our clients have any concerns or queries about any matters, I'd personally like to welcome them to let us know so that we can work together to resolve the issue, whatever it may be, as quickly as possible.
We're looking forward to a prosperous and successful new year, and I'd like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season with their families.
If you need to get in contact with us over this period, we'll still be checking our User Support system regularly. You can create a ticket and code it by urgency, and we'll respond accordingly. Using this system is more efficient than e-mailing and it would make our holiday season just that little bit merrier if you'd make it your first port of call if you need to reach us.
If you'd like to generally keep up to date with our news and latest projects, you can subscribe to the RSS feed of these news articles, and you can also find us on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
Thank you again for a brilliant year.
Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
- Drew and the team at Rhye Media.
