We're now more than halfway through the year and the difficult times continue for many businesses and families. Well here's some good news for a change. We are currently in the process of transferring all of our hosting packages on to a brand new server.
This will be more than a software patch or update, it will include transferring all of our accounts/systems on to new hardware.
Once the migration has taken place, your site will be running on a different IP address. We have included below the old IP address(es) and new IP address(es). Both server’s will be running concurrently until ALL packages and records have updated their DNS information.
What you need to do!
If your domain name has been registered with us, then you will not need to make any changes to your website or domain name. This will be updated automatically as apart of the update process.
If your domain name is not registered with us but is delegated to our server for DNS (as detailed below), then you will not need to update your DNS delegation as it will be automatically picked up at the time of the server migration.
If your domain name is not registered with us, and is NOT delegated to our server, then you will be required to update the DNS ‘A’ records for your domain NOW! (A record IP 126.96.36.199)
If you are unsure about delegation, we encourage you to contact us to discuss how these changes will affect you and what needs to be done to ensure a smooth transition during this migration.
Please Note: If you are required to change your DNS settings and you do not do so ASAP, any changes made after the time of the migration will be lost. Plus your website will go offline when we shut down the old server.
NOTE: If you are using the old server path (server2.rhyemedia.com.au) as your mail or ftp connection please ensure you also update these details once propagation has been completed.

As we are moving servers our current IP addresses aren't transportable and will need to be changed. The process will begin Thursday 23rd July 2020 at 6pm and we have outlined the update details below so you can see how this move will affect you.
The first stage to this migration is that we are required to copy all our servers accounts onto the a new IP address space to support the new hardware. We are happy to work with you to find a date and time after this point which is mutually agreeable to perform your accounts migration.
After the migration has taken place, your site will run on a different IP address. We have included below a table showing the old (current) IP address(es) and new IP address.
Old Server Hostname
Old Server IP
New Server Hostname
New Server IP
Please Note: If you are required to change your DNS settings and you do not do so, your website will go offline at the time of the migration.
